Have you heard of a Personal Learning Network? Have you ever found information but forgot where you have found it? A Personal Learning network (PLN) is something you create to help organize information you find based on different categories. My PLN is designed for information about education and agriculture since I would like to become an agricultural teacher one day. As you can see in the image above, my PLN has a variety of categories such as collogues, social media, blogs, and education to help me keep track of who or what is apart of my PLN. Each category may or may not have a connection to another category. A PLN is personal, so not every PLN will be the same due to everybody having an idea of what information they are looking for. This is important for people going into education because you can use these outside sources as resources for your classroom, and help keep it all organized. The web site I used is Popplet.com and I created a link so you can check it out yourself and create your own PLN!
